What is the difference between hydraulic lift and mechanical lift?

1、 Mechanical lift

Mechanical lift mainly includes single-motor driven screw drive lift and double-motor driven screw drive lift. The mechanical lift was popular in 1992-1998 and was mainly produced by Baodebao, Hengchen, Zhongda and Shenxia. This type of lift is characterized by good synchronization. Since it is usually driven by motor and driven by screw, it does not have the problem of oil leakage and pollution, and self-locking protection is simple and easy. However, due to the high maintenance cost of mechanical wear (the gongs and bearings often need to be replaced), the maintenance and replacement of a lift will cost about 1000 yuan each year, and the customer will replace the product with a hydraulic lift with low maintenance cost.

2、 Hydraulic lift

The hydraulic lift is characterized by its stability, low noise and high strength. The disadvantage is that it is easy to leak oil after long use and pollute the working environment. However, the maintenance cost of hydraulic lift is low, and the cylinder has been used for 5 to 10 years without any problem. In terms of the development trend of lift, it must be developed in the direction of simplicity, long service life, low noise and low price. Therefore, hydraulic lift will be the mainstream of lift market development in the future.

Hydraulic lift is divided into two types: single-cylinder lift and double-cylinder lift.

The advantages of the single-cylinder hydraulic lift are: good synchronization, no turbulence, thick base plate, the torque of the lift is offset by the base plate, easy leveling, good integrity, and suitable for places with poor foundation.

Double-cylinder lift can be divided into two types: gantry lift and floor lift. Since they are double-cylinder, the synchronization problem is difficult to solve, and they are often balanced by two steel wire ropes. The lift can only be synchronized if the oil cylinder and steel wire rope are adjusted to the same tightness.
