How often do I maintain the car lift?

It is important to use the car lift, and what many users neglect is regular maintenance! Although knights have many maintenance-free designs. However, there are still some items that need regular maintenance. In fact, they are listed in the manual. You can operate according to the requirements of the product manual. Here we remind you again that in order to maintain the stability of the lift and extend its service life, we should insist on regular maintenance!

The following work must be carried out every month:

1. Tighten the anchor bolt with a torque of 150 N/m;

2. Check all joints, bolts or pins to ensure good connection;

3. Add lubricating grease to slide block, chain and wire rope;

4. Visually check all hydraulic pipelines for wear and oil leakage;

5. Check whether the mechanism is in good working condition;

6. Lubricate all pulleys and pins with 90Wt gear oil;

Note: All anchor bolts need to bear normal torque. If one bolt cannot bear normal force, the lift must be stopped until the qualified bolts are replaced before use!

The following work shall be carried out every six months:

1. Visually check the possible wear, interference and damage of all moving parts;

2. Check and adjust the tension of the wire rope according to the situation, so that the hoist can run in parallel;

3. Check whether the column is vertical to the ground;

4. Check the rubber support pad and replace it if necessary;

5. Check whether the protection device is in normal working condition.

Wire rope inspection and maintenance

All lifting wire ropes shall be replaced every 3 to 5 years, or in case of visible damage. As long as the wire rope is properly maintained, the service life of the wire rope can be extended. For example, lubricate the wire rope with 90Wt gear oil or wire rope lubricant! These oils/lubricants penetrate the fibers to prevent damage. We recommend lubrication every 3 months (4 times a year). At the same time, print the maintenance schedule and post it in the maintenance workshop to remind the next follow-up time at any time.

Every working day, observe any visible part of the wire rope as much as possible to find out the damage and deformation. When the wear, broken wire, broken strand, corrosion, tension, bending, deformation, fatigue, diameter, rope core exposure of the steel wire rope meet the replacement standards specified in the relevant regulations, please replace the new rope in time, otherwise it will face risks.
