What aspects of inspection should be paid attention to before using the car lifting platform

With the increasing application of car lifting platform, users have insufficient understanding of safety management, some operators have poor quality and sense of responsibility, and many times they do not check carefully before use, which has caused many hidden dangers to the safety of lifting platform equipment. For our own safety and to prevent irreparable loss, we must do safety inspection before using the lifting platform. The following aspects are the inspections that must be done before using the lifting platform.

Site inspection

1. First, check whether there is water accumulation in the foundation part and whether there is any sign of subsidence. During the inspection, if there is a lifting platform installed on the first floor, the roof support system and calculation scheme of the basement must be checked; Check whether the grounding system meets the requirements; The ribbon punch shall be complete and effective; The bottom cage shall be enclosed tightly without damage; There shall be protective shed at the bottom entrance and exit of the elevator.

2. Patrol the frame structure, check the fastening of connecting bolts of the foundation and standard section, and set double nuts or spring pads for bolts as required; Welds at all parts are intact without cracks; The attachment rod shall be set according to the material and specification required in the manual, and shall not be arbitrarily changed. The distance between the attachment rods shall comply with the requirements of the manual, generally 6 m; The connection method and fastening method of the attachment rod shall be in accordance with the requirements of the manual and shall not be changed at will. During the safety inspection, it was found that the bolts were replaced by steel bars, and the nuts were replaced by steel bar heads welded at both ends of the steel bars. This is very dangerous.

3. Mechanical transmission system: the mechanical transmission system of the lifting platform can be divided into closed and open parts. Its speed change part and the centrifugal braking part of the cone drum speed limiter are closed. The other parts are open. The closed part is not easy to check. The site can only check whether the gearbox leaks oil and whether the inspection date marked on the cone drum speed governor is overdue. Its inspection period is generally two years. The cone drum speed governor must be regularly monitored and sealed by the national safety monitoring center. The user is not allowed to adjust at will. The inspection of the opening part is different from the inspection. Because the safety inspection involves a wide range of points and time is limited, it is more extensive than the safety inspection of the elevator. Generally, the instrument is not taken, and the observation is based on experience. It is necessary to check that the clearance of each transmission part cannot be too large, which is generally controlled at about 0.2~0.5mm, and the clearance of the tooth bottom when the gear is engaged with the rack is about 2mm. Excessive meshing clearance or serious wear of gear and rack are very dangerous. The operation and braking force of the lifting platform must be transmitted through the gear and rack. Insufficient meshing depth, serious wear or excessive axial misalignment will reduce the meshing area, resulting in the reduction of the strength of gear and rack and the occurrence of tooth breakage accidents. During the actual safety inspection, it was found that the gear rack of the elevator only hung on the tooth tip, and the meshing surface could not reach 1/3, which was very dangerous. The adjustment of meshing clearance mainly depends on the correct positioning of rack guide wheel and guide roller. During the inspection, it should be noted that the clearance between the guide wheel and the rack should not be too large. Generally, the clearance between the roller and the guide rail should also be controlled within 0.2~0.5mm. The elevator should run smoothly without abnormal noise and obvious vibration.

4. The safety device of the elevator. There are many safety devices for the lifting platform, mainly including the following more than ten types:

The rope limit can be installed in many ways:

A. If it is touched by the eccentric sheave, in case of rope breaking accident, the sheave will fall down in the direction and press the limit switch to cut off the power supply to stop the car.

B If it is touched by the hinge sheave, the hinge sheave shall be equipped with a reverse control spring to ensure that the sheave falls in the direction of the limit switch in case of a rope breaking accident.

use. Press the emergency stop switch once, and the lift platform car in the lifting process should be able to stop immediately

(11) The sound of the alarm bell shall be clear, and the alarm bell shall be sounded before the elevator starts and stops.

(12) The fall arrester has been introduced in the mechanical transmission system and will not be repeated.

5. Electrical system:

(1) Switch box and leakage protector shall be set.

(2) Wire and cable shall be well insulated without damage and leakage. The threading metal hose shall be free of rust and damage and reliably connected to zero.

6. Wire rope and pulley system:

(1) The specification of wire rope shall be configured according to the requirements of the manual, without strand breakage and diameter reduction, and the number of broken wires shall not exceed the scrapping standard.

(2) The pulley operates flexibly and smoothly, and the support is stable.

(3) The wire rope shall be fixed with at least four rope clamps at each end.
